For several years I taught a class for personal defense. Although I had many men in my classes it was mostly women. This job I took very seriously because I knew the information I gave these people could potentially save their lives. There are many things you can do to improve your odds of coming out of an altercation unharmed. It is a very frightening thought that we have to have personal weapons to protect ourselves but the fact is we do. We have a home show that opens in our area twice a year. It is a time that we are able to tour the homes that builders have been working on. It would be so exciting to some of the locations we have only heard about.  The industry has become very popular with the ability to travel on water and visit many different countries at one time. Perhaps there is another cruise on our future.

When the summer comes around all we can think about is camping. It does not matter where we go or what else we do if we are camping we are having fun. We love to spend time in the great outdoors getting back with nature so to speak. We have been to so many camp grounds that were right next to places of interests that all of the sight seers aim their sights on and we have been in the middle of no where when it gets dark it is really dark. It does not matter in the end the most stories we share on our way home are the ones gathered around the campfire just enjoying the time we share. There is something about a campfire that just brings out a positive feeling of togetherness. We do not take any of our electronics with us to distract us. We have our phone in the car in case we need it but other then that we are clocked out from the world. On our way home all we can talk about is where we will go next trip! We may be unclear on the destination but we know it will involve our camping gear and a campfire. When we first started going camping it was just the immediate family but as time has gone on our family has grown and now there is quiet a large group when we all go. The laughter fills the campground as we all gather. When the night is over we usually have several people out of the campground over with us sharing and spending time among friends. That is just what camping can do.
