When some friends and I began our interests in boating it naturally turned into a project. I do not know how it happens but we turn everything into a project. We found a boat that we really liked and that is what started the whole thing. It needed an engine so we had to find a place to get marine diesel engines. It did not take long and we found a place that not only had the diesel engine we need but also they had marine diesel generators. We also found that they had the marine diesel transmissions which we found that we needed later for the same boat. the boat was not a good investment in the end but is sure does run good and look good as well. Being able to order parts online is a big deal for people that do not live around a water source where boat dealers are because parts are no where else it seems.

I’ve always liked Coen brothers movies. I think it’s neat where they do all kinds of different genres, but I thought that it was weird when they decided to do the western genre again after No Country for Old Men. But I guess when you’re at that point in your career and get the chance to redo a John Wayne classic, you take it.

Basically as soon as I heard that the movie was getting made, I started checking up on it with my Satellite Internet to hear about news, the cast and how it would compare to the original. I finally saw it right after Christmas while I was still off work for the holiday and I thought it was fantastic.

I was a little afraid that the new True Grit just wouldn’t even compare to the original but they did a really great job with it. Also, people like Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon can generally hold their own in a big movie, which they both did in this one.
